Overview

Clap To Find Phone helps you find a misplaced phone: clap twice and it rings, vibrates and flashes its light, even with the screen off.

What It Does

• Clap twice to make the phone ring, vibrate and flash
• Adjustable sensitivity, from Low for quiet rooms to High for noisy ones
• Works with the screen off, listening in the background
• Flashlight blinks as well, for finding the phone in the dark
• One-tap on/off, plus an optional restart after the phone reboots

How It's Built

• Clap detection: a foreground service reads the microphone with AudioRecord and looks for two sharp loudness spikes above the chosen threshold.
• Flash control: the flashlight is driven through Android's CameraManager torch API.
• Restarts after reboot: a boot receiver brings listening back after a restart.
