StaffSync HR

Overview

StaffSync HR is an HR management app for small businesses, with separate Admin and Employee logins covering people, attendance, leave and payroll.

What It Does

• Admin dashboard: total employees, present today, on leave today and pending approvals
• Employees: personal and employment details, department, designation, bank, PF and ESI details, and salary structure
• Departments and holidays management
• Attendance: daily marking and reports
• Leave: employees apply, admins approve, with leave balances and history
• Payroll: monthly salary generation with earnings (basic, HRA, DA and allowances) and deductions (PF at 12%, ESI at 0.75%, professional tax, TDS and advances), plus loss-of-pay days
• Salary slips to view and share
• Performance reviews and announcements
• Employee app: mark attendance, apply for leave, and view salary, holidays and profile

How It's Built

• Room database with tables for employees, departments, attendance, leave requests, payroll, performance, holidays and announcements.
• MVVM architecture with a repository, Kotlin coroutines and Navigation components.
• Role-based sessions separate the admin and employee experiences.
• Salary calculator applies the earnings and statutory deduction rules.

Status

Complete and installable as an Android app. Not yet published on Google Play.
